What is Datahack?
DataHack is an Israeli non-profit dedicated to the advancement of data science and machine learning in Israel. We focus on strengthening academia-industry ties, data science literacy and education, intra-community cohesion and knowledge sharing and empowerment of underrepresented populations.
This event is being organized in collaboration with in.dev. in.dev is the first and largest community in Israel dedicated solely to senior developers. Among its activities it organizes Meetups, featuring well known Israeli professionals for its 1,000+ members, and offers advanced unique content in various technological areas. What is DataWinterthon?
DataWinterthon is a first-of-its-kind hackathon designed to bring together the people of both the Israeli data community and its developer community. The hackathon is a 36-hour event held in Tel Aviv, where data scientists, data enthusiastic programmers, designers, and product managers combine their skills to build innovative solutions for real-world problems.
The event will focus on one overall challenge relating to the adoption of machine learning into production environments. Participants will then be expected to deliver fully functioning POCs of products tracking that challenge.

Teams
Participants may form teams of up to 5 members, and will have complete freedom in selecting data, tools and project ideas.
